Eaton Metal Products has experience in fabricating all types of heavy and light weight plate products, in a variety of steel and exotic metals. A general list of products we are capable of providing includes all types of pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipe, piling, refinery towers, reactors, specialty tanks, silos and other plate products. Examples of some projects we have fabricated products for are:

Autoclave

 

Autoclave  in Golconda, Nevada. 19' OD x 76' long, Vessel weight 1,000,000 lbs. O.A.L. of Transporter 384', Gross weight 1,800,000 lbs., 316 Tires. Heaviest load ever permitted on U.S. interstate highway system.

Piling

Piling for the Army Corps of Engineers project at Olmsted Lock and Dam on the Ohio River, (29) piles 10' OD x 2.25" wall x 155' long, weight 255,000#. One of the longest loads ever shipped by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Schedule A Tower

Demethanizer vessel at West Beaumont Gas Plant, Jefferson City, Texas. 5'-6" ID x 105' long, weight 115,000 lbs. Vessel shipped from our Denver, Colorado facility.

Heat Exchanger

 

Heat Exchanger

 

Heat Exchanger for copper mine, Hurley, NM. Exchanger is 14'-3" OD x 60'-4" long, with 3,057, 1-1/2" stainless steel tubes total weight 216,000 lbs. Fabricated at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

Cone Section

 

Cone bottom section for a 20' OD x 55' high vertical ASME pressure vessel, weight 80,000 lbs. shipped in one piece from our Salt Lake City, Utah facility to a refinery in Woods Cross, Utah.

Large Weldment

 

Half section of a large friction clamp weldment for Massman Construction used to jack up the I-40 Bridge over the Mississippi River. Clamp is 13' high and weighs 85,000 lbs. Shipped by rail from our Salt Lake City, Utah facility.

Silo

 

Tubular Gallery

Silos and Tubular Galleries for the Wheatland Power Plant. The coal handling system featured 5,300 feet of tubular galleries and stainless steel cone bottom silos. At the time of its erection it was the largest coal powered generating facility in the world.
